1) Over the summer holiday break, I consumed many different forms of media such as Snapchat, movies, TV shows, Instagram and especially YouTube. From Snapchat, i consumed recent news that was recently added on snapchat and i also consumed messages and pictures that sent by my friends. Secondly, i went to the cinema with my friends to watch Independence day so i can escape from reality and this is a source of entertainment. Lastly, i used YouTube to watch one of my favourite YouTubers such as Ricegum to keep myself entertained and intrigued as his content is quite amazing and hilarious.
2) Print media is a form of advertising that uses physically printed media. Magazines and Newspapers are print media advertisements that are used to reach out to consumers of media. The way teenagers can come into contact with print media is when they go to nearby shops to buy magazines or when they are heading onto the train, they can pick up a newspaper so they can consume some knowledge and recent news while on the train.
Broadcasting media is where they use TV's to advertise recent news around the world. BBC news are a channel that attract the widest audience in the world and that are the most popular broadcasting media that inform every consumers of what is happening around the world. Teenagers can come in contact with broadcasting media by turning their TV on and going onto the BBC news channel or any other broadcasting channels. That is where they can consume some knowledge about the present actions around the world.
The e-media is an electronic media that includes electronic communications such as TV, Radio, telephone, computer and etc. Teenagers can use electronic devices such as a telephone which includes electronic communications so teenagers can communicate with other people by texting and calling their friends perhaps. Moreover, it can also be used to go on websites like BBC news so that the can again consume some knowledge. Computers and Laptops are one of the most popular electronic devices that are used for electronic communications. Apps such as Skype and Facebook can be downloaded and used to communicate with other people. I think for teenagers, they most likely use e-media because they like to use electronic devices where they can research about news on their mobile phones.
3) From using apps like Snapchat and Instagram, we can consume more media as many people on both of the apps upload images of themselves or something. Instagram app is for people to upload pictures of themselves which we then consume by looking at the image and being intrigued. Furthermore, by using these apps, it can make us relieve stress and to satisfy our emotional needs. For example, there could be hilarious articles or videos posted on Snapchat and that could immediately change the mood of the consumer.
Moreover, Snapchats and Instagram are both apps that can be used to take pictures. These apps can help people with low self esteem as they will see other people post pictures of them which will influence them to upload pictures of them too which will bring up their confidence eventually.
Additionally, Snapchats and Instagrams are mainly a socialising app that can help to interact with friends and family through social media.
Snapchat contain filters that often entertain or make people feel better about themselves as filters can be used to make someone look different. Using filters can be a escapism from reality.

4) Over the last decade, i say that the media production has become more creative than before. People now can download apps such as Music so they can use music to create their own music. This only affects the music industry as the people don't have to buy anything, they get it for free. Moreover, the basic equipments needed for media production are also getting cheaper than before. This only means that the people will need to spend less money to actually start producing media such as music videos. Additionally, the production of Netflix and other websites such as Put-locker affect the payment that the Cinemas get. They get less as people can just watchvthe movies at home. Moreover, people also don't buy DVDs and CDs as they can listen to music at home or can watch movies at home or cinemas. This would affect shops like HMV as they are the ones that sell DVDs.
